Copycat Recipe<br /><br />Serves 8<br /><br /><b>Italian Vinaigrette</b><br />1 egg yolk<br />1 tablespoon water<br />1 tablespoon Dijon mustard<br />2 tablespoons minced garlic<br />1/2 teaspoon salt<br />1 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper<br />1/2 teaspoon dry mustard<br />2 teaspoons dried oregano<br />1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar<br />1/3 cup red wine vinegar<br />2 tablespoons lemon juice<br />1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese (<i>optional</i>)<br />1 cup olive oil<br /><br /><b>Salad</b><br />4 ounces cooked chickpeas, lightly chopped<br />1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped into 1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces<br />1 cup fresh basil leaf, chopped<br />1 cup coarsely grated mozzarella cheese<br />12 ounces diced poached chicken breasts<br />8 ounces dry wine salami, diced<br />8 ounces plum tomatoes, diced, divided<br />1/2 cup grated provolone cheese, divided<br />3 thin green onions, thinly sliced, divided<br />8 lettuce leaves<br /><br />To prepare vinaigrette: Combine egg yolk and water in a small bowl; whisk well. Cover the bowl with a small plate and microwave on HIGH for 10 seconds or until the mixture starts to expand. Continue to cook 5 seconds longer. Whisk with a clean whisk. Cover, then cook on high for 5 seconds. Remove from the microwave, whisk with a clean whisk, cover and let sit 1 minute. (<i>This process heats the egg enough to kill any harmful bacteria.</i>).<br /><br />In a food processor, combine egg mixture, Dijon, garlic, salt, pepper, dry mustard, oregano, sugar, vinegar and lemon juice; process to blend. Blend in grated parmesan if you choose to add it. Slowly add olive oil, processing until emulsified. Set aside.<br /><br /><b>To prepare salad: </b>Combine chickpeas, iceberg lettuce, basil, mozzarella, chicken, salami, half of the tomatoes, half of the provolone and half of the green onions. Toss with dressing. (<i>You may not need all of the dressing. Refrigerate any that remains.</i>).<br /><br /><b>To serve: </b>Divide evenly among 8 lettuce-lined plates. Garnish with remaining tomatoes, provolone and green onions.

Add in yeast water and mix together, making a ball. Knead by hand 5-10 minutes, until when you press your thumb down the indention stays. (<i>You could also use your hand/stand mixer if it has a kneading attachment for about 2-3 minutes or you could use your bread machine</i>).<br /><br />Rub small amount of olive oil around dough, to keep it from sticking, and place in a large bowl, covering with saran wrap. Place in a warm area to rise at least 30 minutes.<br /><br />While the dough is rising, cook macaroni in boiling salted water until al dente.<br />Drain and return to pan. Add in 1/3 jar of sauce and butter, stir. Set to the side.<br /><br />Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out dough to fit either your pizza stone or out on a baking sheet, pinching up edges to make the crust. With a spoon, add a very thin layer of sauce on the dough and put in the oven to bake for 15 minutes or until dough is almost fully cooked.<br /><br />Remove from oven and add cooked macaroni; cover with more cheese sauce. Place back in the oven and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes or until dough is fully cooked.<br /><br /><br />

In a medium bowl, mix the eggs, oil, until combined. Add in half of the brownie mix, stir a few times, then add in the rest. Pour in the chocolate syrup and add the melted chocolate chips, mix, and set aside.<br /><br />Take a 13x9 metal pan and line the edges with parchment paper, or grease well with cooking spray/butter. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 21-24 minutes. Use a toothpick to test for doneness <i>(you should test the brownies and keep an eye on them around 15-20 minutes</i>).<br /><br />Take the brownies out of the oven and put them immediately into the fridge or freezer to cool. This step is imperative because it helps you cut the brownies later and stops the brownies from overcooking in the pan. If overcooked the sides of the brownies get hard and the center loses it's fudginess.<br /><br />Cut the brownies as desired (<i>a plastic knife works best</i>) and cover with powdered sugar if you wish. They lightly powder the brownies at CiCi's, so I would recommend doing so.
